GOME Metal Art is a US Navy Veteran owned and operated business located in the Pacific Northwest. The one-man shop is out at the base of the Olympic and Kitsap Peninsulas in Washington State. GOME was the owner’s nickname while serving aboard a submarine in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii back in the mid to late 1980s. The moniker now stands for “Grumpy Old Man Enterprises”.
I just love making things for people and my craft keeps evolving over time. I started out mainly as a wood worker, but once I learned how to operate a Wood Computer Numeric Controlled (CNC) machine, it wasn’t a huge leap to operating a Plasma metal cutting CNC table. Patinas and powder coating were added over the last couple of years.
